Dulcimer is a popular bar right in the centre of Chorlton just yards from Chorlton Cross (formerly "Four Banks" crossroads). Pub was converted from a stationers in 2007.

Two changing cask beers, brews from Pomona Island, Marble, Kirkstall and Thornbridge are regular features. Cider from a major producer (non real) is occasionally served via a third handpump on the bar.

Downstairs is one long room leading out past the disabled toilet to a seated and heated back yard.

Upstairs is another lounge, there is a small bar which can be opened for occasional use. The toilets are another floor up.

Usual bar snacks of crisps and nuts available.
