Fairly modern estate pub. Bought by Hop Back in 2003 and extensively refurbished. Now a shining example of how a failing pub can be turned around with the right attitude and the right management. The pub majors on food which is excellent, particularly the Sunday roast, but still caters well for those who just fancy a drink. Three or four Hop Back regulars with one Downton offering are generally available.
