Re-branded from South Wonston Social Club to The Drovers on reopening after a Covid lockdown 19/05/2021.
A social club turned pub serving the modern village of South Wonston. Interior décor is very much along modern club lines. A large single room with separately styled areas including a pool room and a bar on the far left as you enter. Three handpumps on the bar usually have a couple of local beers. A variety of seating including comfortable sofas. Two TV screens show important Rugby and other sports events, but free-to-air services only, no dedicated sports channels. The club has a full licence, and is open to all; members of the club are entitled to discounts.
Although no food is served, the social club has the kebab van outside Fridays & Saturdays 5pm to 9.30pm, serving breakfast baps, burgers and, of course, kebabs.
