This pub has undergone a modern refurbishment but has retained character with flagstone floors and beams. Food is provided from a modern kitchen and there is a skittle alley/function room. Normally serves three to four ales from regional and national breweries carefully chosen to cover a range of different beer styles. Outside there is lots of seating, plenty of car parking and a lawn play area. There are four en-suite quality B and B rooms if you wish to stay.
