There has been a pub on this site for over 200 years, though the current building dates from the 1930s when it was rebuilt by Courage in the Brewers' Tudor style. Subsequently, the interior has been opened up to form a single bar area. A large, landscaped garden with fountains and sculpture is situated at the rear. As well as four real ales on handpump, there is also a selection of craft keg beers. Run by the same company that runs The Dartmouth Arms, Forest Hill and The Duke, Deptford.
