A village pub, recently rebuilt with new furniture, fixtures, fittings and a custom-designed hand-built bar. Winner of a Phoenix Award in 2025. There is a bright and airy L-shaped interior, with a good-sized bar area to the front and a large wood-beamed restaurant to the rear. The restaurant has glass doors leading into the patio area and garden. It is a food-led pub, but three handpumps serve a changing selection of cask ales.
The is a good-sized car park to the north side, and the pub is entered from here. Note that there is no access to the pub directly from the road at the front, as this is the fenced-in smoking area.
A free house that is a sister pub to the Cross Keys at Woolstone, the Plough at Simpson and the Birch at Woburn.
This Pub serves 3 changing beers and 0 regular beers.
Changing beers typically include: Leighton Buzzard - Restoration Ale , St Austell - Proper Job , Timothy Taylor - Landlord
