Following major refurbishment in early 2023, the Dog & Gun is rapidly re-establishing itself as Kilby village’s community pub. The public bar has original exposed chunky gnarled ceiling joists. There is a lounge and dining room. Live music has returned and the large garden features a 'bouncy castle' for kids on summer weekends.

Historic Interest

The earliest parts of this two roomed pub were built in the early 17th century. A former brewpub. "For sale with brewhouse 28th February 1890." The interior displays interesting pictures of bygone Kilby including one of the long gone Black Swan which was an Everards House across the road.
