A lovely country pub on the outskirts of Ebchester, with great views over the Derwent Valley. It is easily accessible from the Derwent Walk at the old Ebchester station and therefore welcomes walkers, cyclists and families. Food is available all day and dogs are welcome in the bar area.

Historic Interest

The Derwent Walk is the track bed of the Old Derwent Valley Railway. At Consett the Derwent Walk joins the Consett & Sunderland Railway Path, Waskerley Way & Lanchester Valley Walk at Lydgetts Junction, which forms part of the popular C2C.
