Reopened in July 2025 and tastefully refurbished as an independent family pub, the Dark Horse serves three changing cask ales, with a fourth often at weekends and when Crystal Palace FC are playing at home. The interior is comfortably furnished, with no TVs. There is a dart board, a pool table and a small selection of board games. Children are welcome until 9pm each day. There is a quiz each Thursday and a monthly live music event is planned. May open earlier than 3pm on match days.

Historic Interest

For many years a Shepherd Neame pub called the Two Brewers, it closed in January 2025 and was sold.
