Historic roadside inn with a rustic feelbut also a rooftop terrace, disco lounge, and 35ft event space available for gigs & private hire. Pub quiz on Tuesday nights. Craft keg ales & gins are a speciality, as is the extensive collection of traditional local farmhouse cider. The rooftop terrace features DJs on summer's evenings. The pub welcomes dogs and is handy for St George's park. There is also a roaring open fire in the winter, free book exchange, baskets full of board games and cards, bashed up leather furniture and Bierkeller-style tables.
