Oak beamed 18th century pub near the church which has an ancient Saxon round tower. Heated smokers shelter outside. Dogs welcome. Worth navigating the narrow lanes to find this pub offering mainly a range of three changing cask ales typically from local breweries all served by gravity direct from the cask. Quiz nights, karaoke nights, a sports TV and a pool table. There is a large modern restaurant area at the rear, but in August 2025 it was reported that the kitchen was not operating.
