A comfortable and welcoming true village local tucked away in the heart of Coal Aston. The Cross Daggers is a 19th century pub which has been home to landlord, Anthony Hutchinson since 2000. He is also responsible for the nearby Royal Oak . Cask Marque accredited. A viewing window in the floor shows the immaculate cellar below. The bar hosts 4 hand pulls with up to 3 ever changing, sourced from local and national breweries with the nearby Drone Valley Community Brewery often featuring. Neither children nor dogs are allowed in the pub but are welcome in the outdoor drinking area. The Cross Daggers was the winner of Dronfield & District CAMRA's 2024 and 2025 Pub of the Year awards.
