The Crooked Billet, is an old 17th century inn. Previously known as the Royal Oak in the 17th century. It has stone floors, upholstered bench seating, and a rear dining area. A warm welcome can be guaranteed in the winter as you encounter the blazing fire by the entrance door. Thursday, cask ale £1.85/pint.

Food times:

Wednesday – Saturday: Burgers and chicken bites (vegetarian option available) 5pm – 9.45pm (also available via Food Hub)

Saturday: Breakfast Noon till 3pm

Sunday: Carvery Noon till 4pm

Steps down to toilets and in to bar are ramped, but these ramps are small and severe. Ample room in pub for a wheelchair (there was one in at time of our visit). Toilets wide cubicles with opening out door in ladies, but no adaptations/disabled friendly features.
