This spacious village local by the church gate started life as a private club and remains the centre of community life, with darts teams and Sky Sports TV. It is especially lively in summer with holidaymakers often taking advantage of its spacious outdoor drinking area and occasional barbecues. Hot and cold food is available 7 days a week. Up to four changing beers, sometimes one from the local microbrewery Newquay Steam (which also owns the pub).
