Theatre and cinema.
A small bar below the auditorium of the Corn Exchange theatre/cinema. Interesting theatrical memorabilia. Three bench-seated alcoves and a standing area opposite the bar. The coffee and refreshments bar serves only bottled beer.
Historic Interest
Historic England Grade II listed, entry number 1048499. Originally Wallingford's Corn Exchange. Dated 1856 in embossed inscription above the entrance. Converted into the Grand Cinema, opening in 1912, closing in 1917. Reopened as the Exchange Cinema in 1922, closed in 1934. The building eventually became derelict. It was taken over by the Sinodun Players in 1975 to become a theatre and cinema which opened in 1978.
