This Pub is Permanently Closed

This pub used to stand on the corner of Livesey street and Clifford Street. It closed in 1980 and for a short while was used as an amusement arcade. It was demolished as part of the Market Walk shopping centre development.

The main photo shows the pub in the centre of the picture proudly advertising Lion Ales (Matthew Brown).

The second photo shows the pub after closure while in use as Greeen's Amusement Arcade.
