Since 2011, the pub has been run by a family, passionate about Real Ale. Up to Three ales are available, mainly from Scottish breweries plus a few English. Scottish Tall Fonts installed with return trays. It has a large lounge area serving fine food. Close to the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway, Bo'ness Motor Museum and the Hippodrome (Scotland's oldest purpose-built picture house). Very much a community pub involved in local charities and supporter of Bo'ness Real Ale Society’s festival. Large covered beer garden with pizza oven and recently added children's play area.
