Opened in October 2023, a very welcome addition to the Crosby micropub scene. Formerly a restaurant, tastefully refitted in the style of a traditional pub, it has bookshelves with a wide range of reading matter, a candlelit conservatory area, and outside café style seating. Named The Coop in recognition of the now closed Pigeon, first micropub in the region, service is friendly and welcoming. Five handpumps provide an ever-changing and varied beer selection and conversation is very much order of the day. Bag-in-a-box cider is available, two all year with a third in summer, usually Seacider varieties. A portable wheelchair ramp is available which allows access via the conservatory door at the Brookfield Avenue side. Liverpool CAMRA Pub of the Year 2025.
