Hotel tucked away in a quiet village by the ferry pier to the northern part of Bute. The welcoming cosy public bar has a wooden floor, and a separate restaurant serves highly regarded locally sourced food including fish and game. The bar is popular with locals on Friday nights, and music is sometimes performed. The hotel is easily reached from Rothesay by bus and then ferry; check timetables before setting off as you may have to spend a few hours at Colintraive.
