Origionally a Wetherspoons. North Town Wharf once stood behind this pub next to the River Tone. Facing it was the Coal Orchard, the site of an orchard which became the landing place for Welsh coal. In a previous life the buildng , in an Art Deco style, was for many years a hardware store. Seating is arranged over a single open-plan level. There is a small garden and patio area at the rear.

Various bus services stop close by. 15 minutes walk from Rail Station.

Recently reopened 12th July 2024 and offering excellant value ales.
