Claptrap is 1st floor venue & bar, catering for live music, entertainment, theatre, poetry, quizzes & jazz. (Occasionally hired for private functions).

Not your usual venue - it has Chesterfield sofas, wingback chairs and frilly lampshades aplenty!

An extensive range of bottled and canned craft beers are available incl. Kona, Mongozo, Beavertown, Dark Arts, Siren, Wild Beer Co.

On draught - Freedom 4 Lager, Freedom Pale Ale, Thatchers Old Rascal Cider.

Fri & Sat 7pm-2am.

Sunday 7pm-11.30pm (open mic night every Sunday from 8pm)

In Winter months they often put on live gypsy jazz, swing, skiffle and 'rock n roll' on a Sunday afternoon from 2pm.
