Infrequently used (and spared from the type of refurbishment work that has altered the theatre’s much bigger Circle Bar) the Stalls Bar is a little feast of Art Deco styling, with low curving seating bays, flush panelled walls, Formica-topped surfaces, jazzy etched mirror and jaunty-angled bar-counter. It is thought more likely to date from the early 1950s, when the whole theatre was extensively revamped, than from between the Wars. (Open during performances or can be viewed outside theatre hours by appointment only:- contact Admin 0113 391 7777).
