Formerly a Rhymney Brewery pub called the Railway Inn, it stands opposite the Pencoed war memorial. Photos of old Pencoed and caricatures of licensees,and regulars as well as rugby teams adorn the walls. Pool nights on Wednesdays and Thursdays, live music on Fridays, karaoke on Saturdays, darts on Monday and a Tuesday quiz mean there is always something to attract customers. Opens at 7 o'clock in the morning for big screenings of sports events. The Felinfoel beer is low carbonated keg beer served via handpump, hence Real Ale is intermittent. Reported as being a CASH ONLY pub.
