Low ceilings and traditionally furnished with a mixture of flagstone, carpeted and wooden flooring. Extensive outside drinking area to the rear. Close to York university, the pub attracts a mixture of students and locals.

ANPR in use, parking is free to customers, car registration must be entered into tablet on the bar, this includes Blue badge holders.

Anyone using the car park that is not a customer can pay and display.
