We are no longer sure this was a former church premises - the upper floors may have been (re)built in the 1930s. It's recorded as existing by at least 1869 and was formerly known as the Queen's Head. Either way, it's no longer a Moroccan restaurant and seems more amenable to passers-by than before, though it is probably more a restaurant than bar. Fine tiled Charringtons exterior.
