The Castle Inn was once a hotel next to Rockingham railway station. The station, railway and level-crossing are long gone but The Castle remains predominantly as a restaurant specialising in Italian food.

Cask Ale is not available but bottled beers from the Grainstore brewery are stocked: Gold, Ten Fifty, Rutland Panther and Rutland Cider.

A first-floor function room can be hired and accommodation is available in the associated Castle Sleeper across the road.

Quirky fact - the boundary of two counties passes through the property. The buildings are in Leicestershire, the car-park is in Rutland.
