Single bar local with an inglenook fireplace, specialising in Thai food. Karaoke every Saturday evening from 9pm.Large beer garden with three TVs situated in the garden for watching sport. Has three TVs inside the pub for watching all different sports. Can become very busy at weekends and is very much supported by the local community of Potters Bar. Five handpumps are available for beers sourced from far and wide. Quiz on Thursday Night. Annual Beer Festival Held in August

The Charter Market Quarter has many historical links. One of the only free-standing medieval civic clock towers, the site of the First Battle of St. Albans in 1455, during the Wars of the Roses. Allegedly the Boot Inn played host to soldiers fighting in the battle. There used to be 23 pubs around the Market area!
