Real ale was withdrawn early 2023. Busy, friendly, welcoming small community pub refurbished in the summer of 2015 and popular with locals. Modern open-plan layout with a couple of alcoves. Keenly-priced beer and also a 'Happy Hour' until 8pm Mondays, pensioners' day Tuesdays, free pool Tuesdays, poker Wednesdays, DJ & karaoke Fridays & Saturdays. Free food often provided when football showing on TV. Children welcome until 8pm.
