This is a hotel, which means that the bar is only open to residents.

This grand manor house with intricate brickwork was built in 1852 as part of the Burley Estate. It became a hotel in 1932, when a new wing was added for the restaurant and extra bedrooms. There is a small bar with a spacious lounge which is open to the public, but it has no cask ale. The bar offers reasonably priced food, however the restaurant is open only to residents and those who have booked. Deer roam in the field at the front of the hotel.

2020 update: Judging by the website the public bar no longer operates.
