Friendly traditional English pub overlooking village green in an attractive village setting. Named after George Buck a benevolent 18th century landowner. With two bars. There's outdoor benches and tables in front. It is a supporter of local micros, always having two well kept guest ales. They have a monthly quiz and regular live music and race nights. The village sits atop a hill and is in a popular walking area.
