Historic Interest

Dated 1903, Category C Listed. Historic Environment Scotland reference LB21105, and they say 'Rebuilt on site of original Buck Inn, said to date from 1700, and where Prince Charles Edward Stewart stayed in 1745.' There is some dispute that the 1903 fire did not entirely destroy the building so hence it was a partial rebuild with some walls and the cellar still dating back to 1700.
