Local branch Cider Pub of the Year 2025.

A genuine free house, nearing completion of a long-term sympathetic renovation. The re-opened back room provides a welcome addition to the available drinking space!

The beer range features many unusual choices and the rate at which it sells means there's always something new coming on.

Friday night's music sessions often host well-known musicians. Also Live folk/mountain music Mondays and Thursdays. This Victorian pub - formerly a branch Pub of the Year and West Midlands Regional Cider Pub of The Year - is situated in a rural setting but is just behind the main road near to Coventry rugby ground. Some beers are now being served from oak casks.
