New pub/cafe in former HSBC bank serving real ale and a selection of box ciders, hot drinks, soft drinks and light meals. The name dates back to Tudor times and Bridport's rope-making heritage: when a man was hanged, "he was stabbed with a Bridport dagger", i.e. a Bridport Dagger is the hangman's noose. The pub does not have its own car park but public parking is close by. There are plans to construct a garden at the rear.
