Take care with the postcode as it may lead you to houses at the back of the pub with no access - it is actually on the corner of Chester Road and Station Road. The car park leads to the pub via a bridge over the brook. Inside is an open-planned area with an airy dining area in a sizeable extension from the lounge. A very large beer garden to the rear has three fixed wooden gazebos and children's play equipment.
