An Irish pub with plenty of charm, regular live music with a warm welcome. Brendan O'Donnell's is a busy vibrant pub in the centre of Douglas with a great crowd of locals and a strong interest in horse racing. The pub has been sympathetically refurbished by Okell's over the years, and retains a cosy front snug area, at the front of the premises on the right. An increasingly rare survivor on the main shopping street in Douglas. In early 2025 it returned to stocking two cask ales, both from Okell's,one usually MPA but seasonal ales on occasion. There is now also on keg the Okell's cider and Falcon Lager. on Wednesday evenings a traditional Irish folk group meet.
