Refurbished in 2022, the former Friary pub reopened as Boston Brothers cocktail bar.

A founder member of the Samuel Cooper free house chain prominently located in the pedestrianised shopping street in the town centre. One very large lounge-style room is well furnished and the long bar has 5 handpumps, although not all are in regular use. Meals served all day from a comprehensive menu. Can be lively at weekends but there is a large outside area to the rear from which there is wheelchair access.
