This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.

The Cricket Club has a family friendly, single, roomy bar with pool table, a dart board and TV’s which show sport. Seating is very comfortable and looks out towards the cricket pitch. Both of the two handpulls usually have Maxim beers. There are squash courts to the left of the bar and a function room to the right The outside drinking area overlooks the cricket pitch in front of the club and is a suntrap. They have a very good website which includes a brief history of the club.

There is a small car park beside the club with East Boldon Metro and bus stops to Jarrow and Sunderland a short walk away
