Transportation themed canalside venue. Many vehicles are on display throughout the premises, including a small museum with a changing inventory. Remember to look up at the Scalextric tracks on the ceilings!

The separate ‘Emporium’ area has a coffee bar.

The pub's unique name relates to the local blue lias clay a rich source of fossils, representing the remains of 200 million year-old sea-life that inhabited the Early Jurassic sea..

There is extensive canal-side seating on the terrace at the rear of the pub. Supposedly haunted!

The pub also has a large camp site (no tents).

Originally a farmhouse, the building became a pub in 1790 just before the adjacent canal opened.
