A well run and very tidy Greene King "Meet & Eat" venue. A white fronted pub that was originally a 17th century coaching inn. There are even TVs in the large beer garden at the rear as well as seating out front. The core ales are Greene King but there is usually an interesting guest as well as some less common craft ales and lagers.
