A friendly community pub, built in the 1980s for the Jersey Farm estate, which welcomes families. Part of Mitchells & Butlers "Sizzling" pub chain, the building has an attractive exterior and a conservatory which is used as a restaurant. There is outside seating but no garden. Public car parking available at the rear. Breakfast is served Saturday and Sunday until midday. Free pool Sunday and Monday evening. The Monday Club' offers beer at £2.75 per pint. Women's darts on Wednesday, men's on Thursday.
Historic Interest
The pub is named after a local tramp who lived in a shack on Jersey Lane during the 1930s and 40s and was well-known at the time.
