Reopened May 2016 after refurbishment. Imposing curved fronted building on main road junction opposite Sacred Trinity Church. Birthplace of the Showmen's Guild of Great Britain.

Sold real ale for a few years but no longer does. Handpulls have been removed.

Pool table in raised room to left of bar. Loud music on juke box.
