Known locally as the Hole in the Wall, this warm and cosy Hydes tied-house is adjacent to the Clywedog Trail. A new licensee moved into the pub in February 2024, the pub has undergone a refurbishment and an additional beer garden has been constructed outside. The pub comprises of two carpeted rooms in front of the bar with a smaller snug to the side. Log burners and comfy bench seating add to the homeliness. Accessible by bus to Rhostyllen and short walk albeit with steep steps.
