Situated on the Pilgrims Way this is popular with walkers. The Black Horse advertises itself as an 'Eat, Drink, Sleep' establishment as bed and breakfast is available in completely separate buildings. A changing range of four beers from Kent breweries are on offer with an occasional national brew if requested by locals in the largely wooden-clad bar that is bedecked with hops. The facilities are arranged on multiple levels, with an extended dining area to rear and a patio garden behind. Two electric car charging points are provided in the lowest car park.
