A lovely thatched village local with a single traditional bar and a separate dining area. Gravity beer is still served from a back bar. The huge garden leads down to a small stream and unspoilt meadows.

The Bell serves a range of classic British pub fare, with hearty meals made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The menu features a variety of seasonal dishes alongside traditional favorites like fish and chips, pies, and Sunday roasts.

Historic Interest

Apparently at one time the Bell used to brew & provide beer for the monks at Leiston Abbey. The building is believed to date from the 17th century, though it has been extended since. Photographs of this pub and more historical information about it can be found at suffolk.camra.org.uk/pub/725
