Part of Abbey Ales estate since Oct 2025 and reopened on 20 Dec 2025, initially drinks only but the landlord hopes to offer food from late Jan 2026, quizzes, live music and beer & cider festival later in 2026. Four cask ales, at least three from Abbey Ales, fourth maybe a local guest e.g. Frome.

The pub has been here since at least 1881 and legend has it that hangings took place across the road from the pub.
