The Bel Air Inn is located at the top of Harbour Hill, a 750m walk during which you'll gain 80m of altitude. For the less energetic, ride the “toast rack” towed up the hill by a tractor. No cars on this island.
This is a friendly pub popular with both tourists and local residents. Under new management of Aidan and Tracey Gallienne from Oct 25. Open from 7.30am for food, cafe service. Drinks from 10am. No real ale as yet.
There is a large beer garden and courtyard where food and drink can be enjoyed on warm days. During the summer, barbecues and live music feature at the weekend. Dogs are welcome. Cosy fire in winter.
