Historic Interest
A report in the Ipswich Journal** on 01 Oct in 1856 states that The Bear Inn, Beyton was to be sold in October. Building was rebuilt in 1900 after the original thatched pub burnt down in a July thunderstorm. A contemporary account of which is framed in the bar.
