This Pub is Permanently Closed

CLOSED: Planning app 2015/04274/FUL registered 9 Sept 2015 to develop upper stories & part of ground floor; agreed by H & F Council. A public house would remain on the ground floor. Building works confirmed as under way as at December 2016.

As at April 2023 the upper floors have been converted to flats; the ground floor has hosted several different restaurants and is currently being converted to a chicken shop.

Previous description follows:

The pub has recently been refurbed and is in the middle of the North End Road fruit and veg market area. Craft beers only, no real ale. Food is currently via a series of pop-up kitchens and hence menus change. It is intended to open a multi-purpose live venue above the pub. Note restricted opening hours.
