Large pub situated on the Offa's Dyke long distance footpath. The interior has two separate bars, the right one being the public with a dart board and fruit machine. A further room at the rear was formerly the dining area. At the front is a large car park and outside tables. Under new management since May 2024, food is not offered at present. The kitchen needs refubishment and it is hoped that this will be completed some time in 2024. The brewing kit of Offa's Dyke brewery is in situ in a building next to the pub. There is a possibility that brewing may recommence at some time in the future.

Four real ales are served. As of June 2024, they were from Wye Valley & Hobson's breweries but it is intended to keep Butty Bach as a permanent beer and increase the range from other breweries.
