Town Centre traditional hotel with lounge bar operation. Food offered all day with designated seating in rear with log burning fire. Pleasant garden area accessed from High Street. Cask Ale was available until winter 2025.

Bus services connect Moffat with Dumfries, Lockerbie, Glasgow and Edinburgh. There is a connection to West Coast Main Line station at Lockerbie.
